Friendship Bracelets #5 – Jellyfish Bracelet

Create a cardboard loom by cutting a circle out of cardboard (trace a cup or can for a circle).

Using a ruler, draw 4 lines across the cardboard circle to create 8 equal parts.

Carefully make a hole in the middle of the cardboard circle (use a pen or scissor points).

Cut a small notch into each line that was drawn to complete the cardboard loom.

Cut seven strands of yarn to 24”, place all strands together and tie a knot at one end.

Thread the strands through the center hole of the cardboard loom.

Hold the cardboard loom with the knot on the bottom and the strands coming out of the top.

Take one strand at a time and slide it into each of the cut-out notches (one strand per notch).

There will be one notch left that doesn’t have a strand of yarn or floss.

Lift the 3rd strand to the left of the empty notch over the other threads and into the empty notch.

Repeat this process until the friendship bracelet is long enough to wear.

Remove from the cardboard loom and tie a knot at the end to secure.

Cut off any excess and wear it or share it.
